  • R32 Skyline Paint Correction After Vinyl Removal

    Background:

Customer previously had a large vinyl decal of his shops logo on his car. He recently decided that he did not want to have the decal on his car anymore and took it off with a nasty rag and adhesive remover. This left the cars paint in very bad condition with tons of swirls and fading.

    Car with vinyl:

    Without the vinyl:

    Test spot with #205:

Fender after a pass vs. untouched door

Rear fender before & after #205:

Removed the wheels and cleaned up inner fender and such:

    After PB EX-P & Natty's Blue:

It was raining and dark when I finished and did not get pictures of it in day light yet. Customer was very happy with the turn out.

I am always open to input so please give me your constructive criticism and such.

    Thank you,

    -Alex

Looks fantastic. I wish I could have someone correct the paint on my car! It's full of swirls.

Looks amazing! 50|50 shots really do paint corrections justice. Good job!
