Got a text from my realtor this afternoon. Other buyer is putting in an offer.

That's currently where we're at.

Basically I have until tomorrow to submit my "highest and best" offer.

They are asking 79,500 for the house and I put my offer at 77,500. I have no contingencies and the bank has already approved me for the loan.

The only way the other person will get the house is if they put an offer for full asking price and don't have any contingencies.

We'll see.

Rage friday fuckers. I failed my electrical inspection because the rules for grounding the electrical box changed 3 months ago. Now I have to wait until Monday to get his ass back out. Plus I need the Public Utilities district to do a trench inspection as well. So now I have to pay some fuck to come look at a 4 foot deep trench.
