Let me indulge my Photoshop obsession with you guys.
I'm still thinking about what I'm doing with my interior, and I had to drop the Lotus off in the city to get the boot release handle re-attached
Anyway I had some time to kill, so I checked out a couple of the local furniture shops for a bit of inspiration for my interior.

I saw a lot of this quilted pattern:

And it made me think "this would fit in pretty well in an 80's interior, but it's a bit unique and also pretty timeless" So it piqued my interest a bit.


This is where my serial Photoshop addiction kicks in - now I've just picked a photo of a set of seats off eBay to shop these textures onto, but any seat reupholstering will be a long time coming, this is just some colours and the diamond quilting concept applied to a seat. I'll be doing door cards, dash, parcel shelf and shift boot in this stage - seats will wait until I have something worth it.



No matter how hard I tried, I kept coming back to the brown colour in the first image though.
I apologise for the rush Photoshopping and appallingly bad seats (they actually would suit the car in its current state very well, anyone in Sydney?)

Yeah, the puckered/buttoned look is cool, but I can't imagine being able to actually do it myself, I'll probably go for a stitched diamond over a fairly plain fabric.

I kid you not I had the same idea about the quilting for mine a few months back.But I decided it reminds me too much of a war plane and I'm not going to do it. It will definitely look cool though if you go through with it. I say do it!
