  • lowering an e38

hey guys thinking of picking up an e38 and lowering it with fortune auto 500 series coilovers, whats involved in putting coilovers on one of these beasts? and are there any better options out there? thanks

It's pretty straight forward installation wise. E38's also don't need all the customization a 3 series needs to get low either. We've done a few set ups if you have any questions, i'm sure i can help.

any welding involved like with an E30? or do they just bolt right in? also do the fortune autos go reeeeally low? oh and how much camber could i run with them

and do they need shorter swaybar end links once you go low enough? there was somebody on bimmerforums running into that problem
