    Awesome read...all the small details make the car what it is in my opinion. Those OZs and that Nardi wheel will look so good man! What are you planning on to get lower?

        at first i will change the original spring rubbers. which are available for this car in 4 versions. depending on the equipment, mercedes has previously installed differently thick gums. i get the thinnest. which again makes about 2 centimeter difference. because of the new wheels, also the rolling circumference is smaller. then we'll see. i need also shorter shock absorbers. we will make some new and shorter ones. unfortunately i'm still waiting.

          If you manage to do that (the short shocks), I would like a set of those too

              Use 1995 Ford Ranger 2wd 4cyl front shocks for the rear of the w124. Comparison shot:

                Ah those ones. Couldn't find them anymore last time I looked. But thanks for the link!

                Oh btw: are you sure? because I think the coilovers will not work as the top linkage in the wheel well is too weak to hold the pressure
                EDIT: Forgot the camberplate. Never mind

                @MikeyRa:
                That's great! I'll might try that.. And then use E36-shocks in front....

                        Or R129 upper strut mounts for the front.

                            nooo... less hidden surfaces - less rust. i also do not want to drill 11 holes in my sill for the cladding.

                              You do not need to drill anything. You can use the original holes. At least, that what the PO of mine did.....

                              So it should not make any difference compared to the original situation..

                                Looks sharp! I really like the shift knob/boot combo you made. Can't wait to see it with the wheels and coilovers.

                                Just a question- In Germany do you get to choose if you want the long "traditional" plate or the ones you have on now?
