I assume you mean pictures that or not grainy and preferably high resolution/quality?
Or is backdrop and lighting also required to be something a bit special?
Just wondering since a pic I submitted of a honda wagon made the mainpage, even though it was a bit grainy, boring backdrop, not very high resolution and overcast natural lighting.

Absolutly dude. Just personal preferance I suppose. rare Euro wheels do it for me everytime. There is a white Audi a4 Avant that has a set of 18's I tihnk. Saw it at H2O looked amazing.

I suppose so. But there are some wheels like the brock b1, azev a, rondell d58 and borbet a that here in scandinavia are SERIOUSLY played out, but seem to be big in the US.
The nothelle's however I just don't like the look of at all.

To each is own. But also IMO Type A's; Azev and Borbet I tihnk will always look awesome if pulled off correctly. Played out or now they just look good to me.
