Hey all
I'm new and just recently thought about adding air ride or other to my car. I'm not looking stretch/poke/ride in the weeds. But I'm looking for some adjustability in height.
the big thing is I'm wondering what the cons of an air suspension are. Can they perform on par with mid level priced aftermarket coilovers, or do you lose performance (spirited driving) with an air ride or similar setup?
I've not actually ridden in or driven a car with an aftermarket air suspension. My only experience is the factory setup in my 2002 allroad. I played with the computer and had it sitting lower in each setting, but at that height, the suspension was pretty darn cruddy.
So lots of questions and looking for a local resource. I'm also not beyond doing something my self, but willing to pay a bit for some experience hands
