    ive been thinking about this, guess theres 2 approaches to paint. in one respect if the car is a car and built up with mechcanical etc, then you could just mask it up and paint around everything. and then if the car is stripped and is a bareshell, then a full respray would make sense, i guess thats how the manufacturers do it.

                yeah, CSL's only came in 2 colours and trying not to sound like too much of a purist but kinda had to keep it one of the 2.

                but i was toying with this...

                              well, based on what i found, the OE CSL rims are not mag alloys and were never offered as an option. not sure where the whole mag think came from.
                              Seems the rears are exactly the same part # and dimensions as the US spec M3 ZHP, but the fronts are 8.5" vs 8" wide on the ZHP.

                              there may be a small amount of magnesium content in the alloy mix, but by no means are they mag wheels.
                              thats what i found.
                              I haz 4 wimz. need 4 more.
