  • The Grandmabile.

Here's my winter build, little late to what I've been working on, but better late than ever.

Put the car away for the winter like this

Takes that plus jacking the car up under the rear subframe to get the lift arms to clear my pinch welds.

    Little bit o' shiny tire.

    With some bent top plate.

Removed the cat for the ORP I'm waiting on.

    OH NO I BOUGHT REPS! ESM 004's 17x8 +38

    Test fit.

    Tires mounted. 205/40/17 Federal SS595

New top mount. Going to have it machined it so it can be a functional camber plate again.

Obviously need to pull some more camber in the rear.

    Removed most of the stickers.

And that's all I've got for now.

he's already on 205/40s on a 8" rim, isn't that good enough? not everybody wants the skinniest tire possible.

told you should have made a thread Blake lol. I'm lovin the new look!

205/40's are small enough for me on the roads I have to drive on everyday.

Why not opt for the 9's? I forget if the offset is too low for you.

205/40s on a 8 is fine. Its the Feddys that fit quite bulky...noticed that when my GF needed new tires and got 595s...

I don't think they have 17x9 in our bolt pattern.

They make them in 9's in an offset that would work, but they don't make them in my bolt pattern.
