  • Questions about wheel weights

I ran into an issue last year while starting to re-finish these over winter, so I figured I'd actually ask this time around.

I assume these are wheel weights on the outside of this wheel? It's directly opposite the valve stem.

My question was is it possible to remove those yourself, or have a tire shop do it if necessary, and have them use the standard stick on weights inside the barrel? I **** having to polish/sand around those weights, and they're kind of an eye sore.

Hopefully you can help me out SW!

Yes. You can remove them and use stick weights on the inside. Nice wheels.

Just bring it to your tire place and say it to them that you want them balanced on the inside and it shouldn't be an issue, just pay for re-balancing

I **** seeing people putting weights on the outside of alloys, really annoys me. I aaaaaalways put them on the inside of alloys in work
