Looking to Host Chicago/Chicago area Meet

Well, in jealousy of the succes of the Maryland meet, I am considering hosting a meet in chicago, for the midwest coasters.

Basically wanna get an idea of who would show, and who i can get help from. and if anyone in the area has a location in mind, i'm down for suggestions.

Looking to do this once its not 20 degrees everyday. sooo maybe february something or march.

the zoo WILL be open so its looking liek that location is gonna be crowded.
My boss suggested MOntrose Harbor, then i looked it up and it BALLIN so much parking, and curvy roads, photo ops etc. i think this will be best

I figured we'd at least wait until it got warm enough outside so that we could enjoy our project cars in an environment where they won't just kill us all (we don't believe in winter tires for project cars).

ahaha yea i sent him an email. Well if thats the case can we set a date in advance, so it kinda goes up on everyones calendars, and we arnt hosting on a day thats the same or close to a big meet like SOWO or something???

yea i went to Bowling green last year. loads of corvettes, weird as fudge.


So me and Alex have been talking, and we decided a location. Streets of woodfield AMC theatre parking garage, roof top of course. Most likely on a Sunday. Now for the date.. IDC about the cold. winter sucks, boo hoo. this is why we are doing it now. small meet to get people together. Properly stanced or not, drift or show. or whatever you want. So Date specification is coming soon........
