went to pickup the diff for the e21 today, which isnt gonna be ready til tuesday, but i came home with this lot













one valve has snapped off, and a rod snapped, but the head looks good otherwise. will get em checked next year sometime, and the crank looks ok too

picked up a new front bumper today, stock front with genuine alpina lip + new depo fogs

Just went through the thread. Love the car man. I approve of everything (except the M Power number plate surrounds). One of the Andreas' from German Auto Haus (the one that left, I think) used to own a red 340i. He would have some valuable tips for the engine swap.

Can I ask which Autobarn you install for? I worked at Frankston back in my uni days and my best mate is still there.

cheers, yeh i grabbed some plate surrounds from work first time, they were too bulky and the rear lights werent showing enough on the plate, so i grabbed the m ones off ebay(were supposed to be the quickest postage), and havent gotten around to buying some non m ones.
