  • My Boring Bora Lockdown Wrap Project!

Hi guys, It's been years since I posted on here and I was reminiscing through my posts over the weekend so I thought I'd make the effort to upload a little project I decided to take on myself while I'm doing nothing else, having painted and cleaned pretty much everything else around the house inside and out since lockdown started!

I bought this bora for a few hundred £ and it was in surprisingly good condition for its age (2004). Certainly nothing special, a 1.6 16v with 101k miles but I wanted to do this as cheap as possible as its only for fun but I do plan to sell it on when I'm done!

I'm very close to ordering a set of Fifteen52 Tarmac's but not 100% sure yet...

Would anyone like to see more?

Sorry as you can tell I've had some technical difficulties getting the photos to upload, here they are!

Good job on the wrap! I assume you're in that kind of trade? Also what blue is that?

Thanks, it sure is! I do alloy wheel refurbishment but this will be the third car of my own that I've wrapped and I've wrapped 3 other cars for mates. The wrap is made by KPMF and this is a new colour they only released last year called Sky Blue. Its pretty much identical to a popular Ford colour called 'Olympic Blue.'

Also I had a look at your build before I posted, great progress with yours!

Please tell me you did something with that rusty wheel arch before wrapping it...

Wrap is complete and gel plates have arrived!

Now for the question... Porsche Twists, yay or nay?

Picked these up fairly cheap, 18" (Replicas) 8.5J, ET35 and 12mm Forge spacers all round for a bit of width...

205/40R18 tyres fitted to allow a bit of stretch...
