  • Help: Will they fit?

    Hi.

I am about to order some lips and barrels for a BBS RS stepup, 17" to 19".
The car is a Golf mk7 2017, lowered 40 mm in front and 35 mm rear.

I am going for the following setup:

    Front:
    2" lips and 7" barrels.
I have estimated the ET to be 42,15 mm

    Rear:
    2,5" lips and 6,5" barrels.
I have estimated the ET to 29,45 mm

Tires will most likely be 225/35-19 allround.

I was pretty sure they would fit, but just before I made the order I started wondering and doubted...

So I'm wondering; will they fit?
If I'm way of please let me know.

    https://www.willtheyfit.com/ will tell you that.

P.s: I don't think 9.5 and 10.5 will ever fit a stock body golf, post the RS numbers so we can check your offset calcuations...

      Thanks for answer.
The centers is not original RS, but reproduced centers from Felgenfuchs...
This is for my daily drive, so i dont want to modify the wheelarces and so on.... 👍

To be on the safe side, what dimentions are max in width? The plan was 9,5 in both front and rear with different offset... Do you have any experience with Golf?

So you have the 15mm backpad version? If yes your offsets are correct.

A google search will tell you that, but from what i have seen 19x8 with a +50 offset or whatever the stock 19s are...

At least the et is correct.

At the moment I run 8,5x18 with et42, and 10 mm spacer in the rear and no problem. I used to run 8,5x18 et 45 on my old golf, but I hoped on some first hand info...

Find the specs of you stock wheels and tires, write them down.

Find the specs of the wheels and tires you want to run, write them down also.

Put them in this calculator: www.willtheyfit.com

Take a ruller and use common sense, and boom. Profit.
