Had a chance to mock the hard top. I really dig the look, I plan to have removable hinges (on order) at the rear. Found a nice set meant for boat use that have removable pivot pins to pull the top off completely.

Picked up a set of adjustable motorcyle coil overs for the rear, I figured since there will be four of them and the car weighs next to nothing they should work and ride okay, if not it's an easy fix.

If they are off something like an harley davidson I guess they'll be more than enough support, just maybe a little underdamped as those bikes usually are

After a hiatus, moving out of one shop space and putting everything into a storage unit. Everything sat dormant during a hideous winter season, the weather has been perfect and a new shop opportunity opened up.

My first attempt at welding. Just tacked into 2"x2" .025" wall square tubing for the differential mount. Tacked in place until a real welder with some real firepower can come in and finish the job.

              What a great sight!
Good work, congrats on the new working space. Wish you a worry free wrench time in there.

                    Seat mounts:

Clutch & brake master pedal assembly mount:

                    Rear coil over mounts:

Again, everything just tacked. The frame is now at a buddies shop for finalized pro welds today.

Coolness, did you test if spring rate is correct?

Your attention to detail is very comforting to see.

Not yet. I figure the benefit to using universal motorcycle shocks is I can change them for different kinds, designs, spring rates...etc, when that time comes. Going to start here and modify as necessary.

Thank you. I'm not trying to be detail oriented, just to make everything work & fit.
