shoot, get out the ol rubber hammer. Just kidding dont do it!!
Excited to see where this thing is going. Love a good kit'd SC
Im gonna use the fender roller once its fixed and then use a hammer to smooth things out, its ok, I can get it pretty good, thats the method I used on my Infiniti
Yes I know, Im a wheel whore. I have my eye on another set at the moment and just waiting for the owner to sell them to me. Lets see how long I have to wait
Well after almost 2 years the car is finally coming home!
What some of you may have guessed, life got in the way.
Apartment complex told me to move my car out of garage since its NON-OP. So the car went to my brother in laws place. Then I quit my job and started my career in ship building in San Diego. I commute 65 miles one way
Then we finally got approved for a house with you guessed it, A GARAGE. But not just a garage, A FUCKING 4 CAR GARAGE!
Anyways, we've only been in the new house for a couple weeks and it was time to bring home my baby.
So I ended up trading the front bumper for a set of KBD overfenders, then quickly sold those to bring in some cash KBD overfenders by Bryan Boeldt, on Flickr
I picked up a new steering wheel, I love Thrash Racing and would love to get some of their black leather racing seats but the wheel will do for now
So for the wheels, Corvettes are 5x120.65 and my car is 5x114.3. Also the offsets are shit. That being said I custom ordered some 2.25" and 3" hub centric adapters to effectively make the wheels offset 19x10+3 and 19x12+2. I also ordered some 225/35/19 tires for the fronts and 265/30/19 for the rears. If anyone wants a pair of 345/40/19 Hoosier A7 slicks hit me up @half_lung on instagram.
Now its just a waiting game to find time to pull the motor and trans and wait for the adapters to come in.
