Looks like I'll finally have my wheels on by next weekend. Installing my extended lug studs this weekend and hopefully going to see Ollie this weekend to get his fender roller. Spacers will be here early next week. Win.

Excellent.
Bleh. Wtf happened to the days of 1200 civics and e30s on craigslist?
Kelly any reason you want a 215/35 and not a 205/40?
They're almost identical
Falken 912 205/40 stretch really nice on 9's:

Same tire on an 8:

Nice those look good.
Nankangs stretch pretty good, my 205/40s on 9 stretched alitte more than that did.
Kelly you gonna need some 25mm's for the rears and at least 15mm's for the fronts.
912's have a curb protector lip that's kinda bulky. That's one of the biggest changes between the 912's and the 512's according to out tire rep at work.
I talked with him for about a half hour one day debating the whole 512 vs 912 issue. He talked to Falken and the "core" of the 912 tire is the same mold they used for the 512, they just added the bigger curb lip to help re-inforce the sidewall.
Fucking A! Passed my 4th kidney stone since Feb.
Our tire rep told me that the 912 replaced the 512 that's why they are so similar. According to him, the 512's were garbage in the rain so the redesign 912's improved wet traction and overall quality of the tire. Also, the 512's used to have cracking issues on the sidewalls, and the addition of the curb protector strip on the 912's eliminated this.
Like I said, this is just what he told me, but I'm pretty sure his info is legit. I know he goes to a lot of seminars around the country when tire manufactures release new products.
The Bruins lost, it's a good thing I'm not a real fan.
Hope I never have to pass a kidney stone, but know I will with how I eat :/. Is it as bad as everyone says?
Kielan, you should have that dude send you photos of the rear of the wheels, if they are real it will have a stamp like this. Price is really solid if they are real.

Also, impressed at your devotion to keeping stereotypes alive, big, skinny, chrome wheels on an e46 :P
The worst part is the pain you feel in you lower left back as it's passing, ridiculously horrible. And then the next couple days consist of "matter" coming out you dickhole. It's fucking awesome.
That picture reminds me of something.
See all that rust/corrosion on the wheel where it bolts to the hub? Believe it or not that stuff can create balance issues when balancing tires. I've seen it at work. On every set of aluminum wheels we take off a car at work, we take the time to hit them quick with a scotch brite pad on a die grinder to take that stuff off.
Since we are all car people, I just though it I would share that little bit of info.
I **** kids.
Yeah 18x8.5
Khalil don't tell me what I need, I know quite well what I need. And those specs you just gave me are fucking bitch status. I'll be going lower offset than that.
Or you could just eat right, and hydrate yourself, and never have to deal with it.
GFY Jeremy, they won't be chrome once I put them on the car. And 18s aren't big for an E46. IMO they fill the wheel wells best.
