I'll just keep filling this thread with my pictures...

took these with the 50mm 1.8. I just bought a 17-70 Sigma 2.8-4.5 on eBay so that should be here by the weekend and will likely become my go-to lens for much of my trip to SoWo.

Thanks for the great advice! I'm working on some new pictures and I plan to play with then quite a bit more. There's something about an over corrected photo that often bugs me. I like to showcase my photography and not my editing skills, due in part because I'm not very skilled in post processing and am just starting to get the hang of it. Thanks for the advice! We'll see how this next grouping of pictures comes out!

    Because Racecar

For real though, Racecars... I went out to Autobahn Country Club this past weekend to spectate my friends race (#189 with the silver E36) Took a bunch of pictures as well, just thought I would share some of the shots I got. More at the following flickr link to the whole set.

My friend was competing in GTS3 and had had tons of car trouble that weekend and had barely slept between driving back and forth to his shop to re-plumb his ABS, replace a broken rear trailing arm, and fix his front splitter which was ripped off after going off track during Fridays Enduro race which him and another friend of mine took 2nd place in.

4/21/2013 at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet, IL. HPDE, TT, and GTS Racing at its finest.

I'll be at SoWo, if anyone is interested in meeting up so I can take some pictures of your car (for free of course) shoot me a PM. I'd like to get some original content while down there and figure if someones willing to offer up their car for an hour or so to snap some pics I'd be down!

    Thanks for looking!

Thought I would post an update of some newer content, some has been seen in my Build thread, others have not. I also added some gear to the stable, two Vivitar 285hv Flashes and some filters (circular polarizer), the last pic shows off the new flash setup after 20 minutes of playing with it, definitely more to come using some external lighting!

There are some nice ones out here for sure. Vanity plates are like $100 or so on top of the regular plate. It's something ridiculous like that and I've always wanted one just never wanted to pay for it. Haha
