That being said, there are unique cars featured, but you seem to be frustrated for a different reason all together.

This is the only answer needed in this thread. At the end of the day, what you are saying is that you built this car to get peoples recognition. Not to build a car for yourself. If you built it for yourself, then this thread would not exist because you would not care about what other people on the internet thought.

Argue the point all you want, But by you arguing simply enforces the fact you just want to be recognised.

Remember, pouring money into something doesnt mean automatic fame, even if you dont see it often.

    lol @ this thread

if your car isn't getting attention and you want it to, change something

making a thread like this won't help.

First off, most of your posts reek of a need to be accepted/recognized for your car. Why not just enjoy your car and build it for yourself? Your "rare/expensive" carbon fiber goodies look like shit and are out of place on the car. An e60 is a classy car, and the boy racer exposed carbon fiber does not work. The wheels, which you I am assuming, you custom ordered due to the offsets and widths, do not look great on the car. The black faces/lips get "lost" and blend in with the tires. If you went with brushed/polished it would have done wonders for your car. At the end of the day you have bolted on some parts, just relax and enjoy your car. If all you set out to do was get featured, you are in it for the wrong reasons anyways. The cars that get featured are usually because the end result is an appealing car, and not necessarily the sum of the receipts.

Honestly, the 20s are killing you imo. You can't get near low enough. If you must, at least camber and tuck those vip style.

With that said, you're car is still really really dope.
Both of these posts are extremely true. It sounds to me (and apparently most others in this thread, that you personally are upset that your car has not been featured. Sure stanced E60's are rare, but lets face some facts here, just because you have quality expensive parts, doesn't mean that they are; A) Look proper on the car, B) Mean your car is instantly better than the other cars featured on here because their parts are "cheaper" by comparison, C) Entitle to you a feature in anyway shape or form.

Normally I don't tear into people like this on the internet, but whatever if I come across like a dick so be it, I don't mean to come across that way, I am merely saying what I believe.

Your car looks completely unfinished, the exposed CF looks stupid on there, it takes the class right out of the E60. The CF parts, are the exact same as their stock counter parts, no where is there a hint of a upgrade other than the tacky exposed CF. Your car isn't THAT low, I mean yes its low, but it looks like a moderate drop on springs, not a serious drop on coils. The black 20" wheels get completely lost in the wheel well, you can't tell where the tire starts, and the wheels begin, you can only barely see that the wheels are even there in many cases. Sure its different, a stanced E60 because these things are still extremely expensive for most people, especially on this site. But really, different doesn't always mean better.

Personally, I think your car needs a lot of changes before its feature worthy (I am sure there are many who disagree with me), but thats just my opinion. The reason you see a lot more of certain cars is because they are cheaper, and have many more aftermarket parts available for them which makes modifying them much easier, and because people have a real love for their cars. They aren't doing it to be E-Famous, they are doing it because its what they love to do. I know plenty amazing cars that will never be featured because they don't want it, not because they aren't worthy. It seems to me that you just want to be able to flaunt how much money you have spent on your car, and get the E-Fame that comes with it.

I am sure that you will disagree with what I have just said, but thats what it appears to me, and those are my true honest feelings about your car. If you want to argue with me about that please send me a PM and we can handle it there, and not clutter this thread with a back and forth debate.

ya iv always wanted to get feature too but never happened which is all good not gonna give up tho . i believe the thing is in order to be notice or feature your car has to be pushing the limit on fitment. Those cars are featured because not a lot of people are able to achieve that kind of fitments(being able to fit aggressive wheel or slammed), on the other hand you seem to be the one who is just lowered on some wheels no offense tho.

    I agree with 2.slowT

It just seems like you decided to dump a ton of money into a car that is already a ton of money and you would have a show winning featured car.

You gotta do it from the heart, not the wallet and don't expect anything from it. I am working on stancing a Kia. Yeah, a KIA. I don't expect features, sponsers, or anything. I'm doing it for myself, and for the sake of saying I did it.

Based on what the title is and this comment ^ it sound like you are upset that you personally have not been featured.

If you bought a car, spent a bunch of money, didn’t get featured, and now your upset then… you’re in it for the wrong reason.

I understand that you also say it’s the same cars you see but I also read that its more about you. (and your sponsors)

Sorry, not trying to be an ass. Im just going based on what I read.

    and what would that be?

i like seeing skylines stanced, vw's stanced and older cars like a cressida stanced

i think those types of cars with some stanced goodness is better than seeing another 350z or s2000

this thread wasnt about my car, it was about the blandness thats becoming the stance scene

Plus a 350Z, S2k, E36 M3 are much cheaper fully stanced and feature worthy than a stock E60.
it is pretty ironic because a lot of these cars are simply wheels and a drop and they get featured so i find it funny because it takes no real creativity or effort on their part

they just copy and paste what somebody else did and apparently people go ape shit for that

i modded the e60 to my taste and flavor and i can appreciate what you guys are saying just consider a fully painted and installed mtech kit is just under 3k

i put my efforts into the drop, wheels and tires and how they fit before any bodykit

i honestly dont care what you guys think of my car, this thread wasnt about that thought it turned that way

i can go to 3-4 stance websites and pull up features on s2000's that all look the same

    that was my main point

i appreciate the feedback though as i was curious as to why it wasnt getting much feature wise

If you dig it, which you obviously do, then why do you care whether or not people gonuts over it? No one here said your car is uglyor anything, we (the people viewing your car) just don't see it as a car with 'pop.' Sure, I do understand wanting acceptance, but to build a car for the sole purpose of making it popular, seems wrong. Keep doing your own style on he car and continue to change it up. Maybe you will hit that 'just right' combo of style and class that will get noticed. Right now though, the 'style' part of the equasion is lacking.
