Yeah. I have the money to do stuff to my car, but I don't know if I want to do anything to a daily. Hearing that some guy sheared engine mount bolts on the cruise yesterday worries me because I need a daily to get to work.

On the off chance that I mess something up big time, me and my wife don't have an alternate vehicle, and she can't take me to work. Doing stuff to it would only increase the chances that something gets messed up. By no means am I saying I don't want to do stuff to a car, but I think I need a 2nd car.


This is really just me justifying a 2nd car I think. Sounds good to me.

I mean I guess, I drove to LI and back (124 miles round trip) everyday last summer in my car which was retarded on ebay coilover sleeves and struts, but I did it, never had a single problem, I gave my pan a few good whacks, but never anything terrible, and I know on the 2.0T motors you guys have the luxury of a nice high pan.

Besides static A3/MkV doesn't get that low.
