That's chill, sounds like a pretty refined experience.. can't even compare San Juan to the isolated areas.
As long as nothing got stolen, and the locals were easy going must've been pretty sweet.

Egypt is fine but you have to make sure you find a good tourist company to take you around. I'm half egyptian and I know how it is when you walk down the street or through one of the tourist markets and you are constantly getting hit up for something. Or even worse they have a foreigner price and a egyptian price..

Yeah i always tell everyone don't take a taxi in egypt, they tried standardizing it that they actually had meters in their cars, but last time i was there the guy didn't even turn it on.

Even being half egyptian with a passport i get harassed constantly there. I speak arabic with a saudi accent (my mom is saudi dad is egyptian) and they never believe im egyptian so its always an arguement.
