I would rather go vinyl, more resistance, plasti-dip comes off really easy to the lightest scratch. I think you should just do it right and not cheap out if you love your car that much. It just looks cheap and tacky, especially the flat black

Homebrews are the tits. My friend built one this past weekend. You can build a world-class rig for half the cost of what you'd pay for an already-assembled one, plus you get to mix and match your parts.
