People that don't know their car is in need of repair because they drive around everywhere with the music blasting! And I don't mean people that just play their music loud. I do from time to time. But people that get it crank it up and pull off. I believe that sometimes you need to have the radio off and just listen to your car. I shouldn't get in someones car and in 10 seconds be able to tell them that 1.you need brakes 2.you need and alignment 3.you need your wheels balanced and they reply "I never heard that before"

Sounds like you know my sister-in-law.

Her car barely starts, and when it does, the check engine light flashes because it always runs lean. It consumes a quart of oil a week, and sometimes she "forgets to check it" for a few days. There have been times when there was no oil on the dipstick, and she couldn't be bothered to stop at the parts store to grab more because "she's broke", even if she's driving to the mall. I think the last time her oil was changed was when I did it 6 months ago. The brakes on her car are beyond beat- I replaced them once two years ago (it was originally my fiance's car, which was given to her sister), and she drives like a woman (no explanation needed). She's also still driving on the snow tires I gave her last November out of pity, because her tires were completely bald. Now she has no tires for this winter, and I flat out don't give a fuck. She also hasn't washed it since the end of winter, almost 7 months ago. I know this, because she backed into a fence and it scuffed some dirt off of her bumper- that scuff is still visible.

It was a nice car when we gave it to her- I always washed and waxed it, cleaned the interior, and did all kinds of maintenance on it. Now that her sister has it... it's a complete pile of rotted shit.
