I remember reading a thread a few years back about mistakes in that movie, and everyone was commenting on how it wasn't a 2JZ, either way they messed up many many scenes in that movie, some examples.

Glasses on in some cuts, off in others.

When Brian pushes the guy talking about Mia's surveillance footage he is pushed to the left Brian's boss, but then he's seen falling to the right of him.

Brian pushes the NOS button, computer says 'danger to manifold' and some bolts start flying, then the floor drops out of his car (wtf...?), but then 2min later Toretto gets in the passenger seat and there's a perfect floor for him to rest his feet on lol.

ha no it is a 2jz, but its from the sc300, if you look at it closely you can see the intake manifold go up and over the engine cover and they only did that engine model in sc300's and gs300's

supras have different intakes that dont go up and over the engine like that
