Before I start, I understand this is actually my first post on the site. But please take that with a grain of salt.
Every year Seniors in High school get to chose whether or not they can do this thing called Senior Project. You have to pick something you've never done before and learn how to do it. A lot of people do musical instruments, painting, etc. It helps with college, and a bunch of other shit like that.
Anyways, I decided I'm going to do it, and I want to build a "drift" car. I quote drift car because it won't be this fantastic $20,000 build.
It's going to be simple, with only the necessities. Suspension, better diff, a bucket seat, etc.
I'm planning on saving around $2-3,000 before my senior year (I'm a junior now, I have a year to save). Just to get a head start. I have a 1995 240sx se but I may be trading that for a 1994 e34 this weekend, and I really would like to get an s13 for the project.
Now onto the point.
Being a Jr in high school, a minimum wage job isn't going to pay enough for this. So I've been thinking of a way to earn some money. I came up with the idea to make stickers, and sell over forums, at car meets, etc. I plan on starting with 3-4 designs, and one or two text stickers and working my way up to bigger products.
Some guys on Zilvia said it would be a good idea to ask for donations. Personally I did NOT want to do this. I mean it's sketchy enough as is, much less asking for free parts. Right? But within 2 hours I got so much positive feedback from the forum and my friends around the tri-state area, I really want to get this going.
So I would like to know what everyone would be interested in so I can get started. Just so I can see what I should work with. I can get designs done quickly, and I would like to get a new one out every week or two. Differnt sizes, mainly just different variables so people don't' get bored.
Donations are appreciated, but not asked for. If someone donates something I would like to pay them back by making them a custom sticker. Maybe one of their car, or user name.
What do you guys think?
