Guest repliedI've never broken a scissor jack.
Now that a scissor jack doesn't fit under the Miata I don't carry one with me, but I used to. Now I just bring a small floor jack in the trunk if I'm going to autocross, or somewhere I think I might need a jack.

i think more than half the people on this forum rock some pieces of wood in the trunk for lifting purposes. its just part of the game.

You can buy little ramps instead of wood but it's same shit different pile basically. Just part of what comes with being lowered.

thanks, I've seen something similar, but are rather large to carry in the car every day, I wanted something more portable...
I have two woods in the trunk for any problem, but I want to avoid this step

Car jacks
I'm having some problems, to lift my car, I've already broken three "oem jacks and my question is the following.
what you use to lift the car? because I searched many car jacks but neither is it small enough to fit between the floor and chassis. I have to upload the car to woods and juggling before using it and want to avoid this and buy something I can apply to any emergency, that I may not do rare things ...Tags: None
