Yeah, I think the two communities are pretty unrelated anyways. I've met a tremendous amount of people that also play World of Warcraft and have never met anyone that dresses up, does live action role play, or plays tabletop games.

Its like ricers.... domestic owners always have these assumptions that import enthusiasts want big wings, obnoxious exhausts, body kits, graphics, and altezzas... but only a small portion of the community these days is still into it. They define the group by the worst of the worst.

Same with World of Warcraft... there are those 1% of super geeks that really define what people think of WoW players to be like, LOL.

You're thinking of Warhammer, or various other table top games. They may have possibly adapted a Warcraft edition in recent years, but those are really two different communities entirely.

lol, I don't play as much as most people - the IT guy at my job plays like 6 hours a day and talks to me about it all the time when I'm trying to work. I probably play about 5 hours a week, and just recently (past 6 months) started playing more.

I originally played it when it first came out, and considering how long it has been a relevant game for me and how much entertainment I've gotten through the years, I'd definitely say one of the best I've played.

I think notable contenders for top game would be, for me:

- Gran Turismo Series
- NCAA Series (I played these a ridiculous amount)
- CounterStrike
