oops! in need of bug expert!

ok so i work at a small county airport which happens to be completely covered in ice right now so i was out messing around in the company bug, (2002 1.8t) which happens to be my boss's wife's second car, and i got the rear pop up spoiler to come up but it wont go back down..... wham wham whaaaa.... so i need to get this thing back down before the end of the day so boss man doesn't get mad at me for messing around in his wife's car when he comes in tomorrow. any help will be greatly appreciated. i think it might just be frozen up so i put it in our heated hangar to see if that fixes it but if not ill have to go to plan b which I hope to get from here.
