I emailed BavRest to confirm compatibility, this is what I wrote:
"Trying to figure out if the rebuilt AFM fits on a friend's '84 325e. He says his current AFM ends in 066.
Is the rebuilt AFM I got from you compatible with all '82 - '87 2.7 ETA (528e / 325e) except the '88 SETA?

"You are exactly right. All eta AFM's will work on all ETA cars except SETA late model e30's."
