Much R&D in this setup, but resulted in great combination of everyday drivability, ride quality, and acceptably low stance with my E46 BMW. Increased spring rates at lowered ride height greatly improved handling over conventional air suspensions.
BC BR coilovers extreme drop kit.
Exchanged front extreme drop for conventional strut cartridge for extra travel to utilize with air cup.
Spring rates: F8/R12
Air cups: 2-inch custom cups designed and procured through Dan @ flushstance and machined at CCW.
Air management: Viair 280c compressor with 2-gal reservoir, SMC water trap with 3/8" SMC valves. Prewired to terminals--hook up power, ground, and 3-way control switch and it's plug-and-play. Has 1/4" DOT airline PTC fittings. Additional hookup for air tools. Air management system has no leaks and has been 100% reliable.
Initially not wanting to separate, but if someone wants just the cups or just the air management, will split and sell coilovers separate after air cups sell.
Has original extreme drop springs and can revert back to normal coilovers by swapping original spring for cups/shortened springs.
Entire setup has about 5k miles on it. Selling because I sold the car.
