For sale is my 2001 5 speed manual 1.8t GTI
This is a Canadian car located in Windsor Ontario, directly across from Detroit. The car has been cleared by VW America for import into the US, so importing is not an issue.
History: I purchased the car in November of 2014, and it was bone stock besides the tinted rear lights. It had some rust issues in many places, BUT I cannot stand rust and my car needs to have a perfect body, so I had most of the body completely redone and repainted by a professional. There are a few small areas that are not visible whatsoever.. I just haven't had them fixed yet. I immediately put my Bilstein PSS9 coilovers on, and had a set of Miro 111 rims and tires to go one, but I never put them on. From here I installed custom smoked Spyder headlights and adjusted my ride height.
Sadly, I lost interest in the GTI as I bought another german car that I had fallen in love with.. So everything stopped and the car is currently driven on the odd day with these exact mods.
The car has 130 000 miles on the odometer(14 year old car)
The clutch is new, done right before the new owner, and the car is running very smoothly
Interior:
-Tan leather interior
-Heated Seats
-Sunroof
- Leather back seats
Exterior and Modifications:
-Aftermarket Spoiler(Came with car)
-Tinted Rear lights(have stock ones as well)
-Custom Spyder headlights
-Bilstein PSS9 performance coil overs(high performance part..
There are two sale options..
1. You purchase the car with the Bilstein PSS9s for $5000
Or
2. You purchase the car with H&R lowering performance springs(I take the PSS9s off) for 4500.. I can sell the PSS9s for $750+ easily by themselves
