id like to sell or trade my audi b5 quattro, i love this car but i id like to move on to something different. i plan to get a e46 bmw coupe, perferably a 330ci, so that is what i will consider trade for. i will entertain any other trades that are same year or newer, rwd or awd, and manual, factory or modded. I AM NOT pricing this based on blue book value this car is heavily moddified so i set my asking price based on the blue book value AND the money invested in aftermarket parts. i am asking $8500 with gold wheels and adapters or $8000 with factory wheels (possible trade will be negotiated).

the story:
the car is a 1998 Audi A4 quattro base, black with grey leather, 5 speed manual behind AEB 1.8t. this is my daily driver, i drive 40 miles to and from work every day with no problems. rides awesome for how it sits.
i got the car 2 years ago, it was 100% original with 175k miles and a thrown rod. replaced the AEB 1.8t with one from a VW passat with 125k miles, put about 10,000 problem free miles on it then recently rebuilt the engine. rebuild has 2000 flawless miles on it with a total of 187k on the dash. i have all reciepts from parts and service i have gotten for the car.
rebuild:
the rebuild included a full rebuild of top and bottom ends. the bottom end was rebuilt by me (i am experienced) with factory specs, replaced bearings and rings, factory pistons, rods, and crank. only mods to bottom end are ARP main and rod studs. all new seals, and a new oil pump also installed.
top end was rebuilt by C's autohaus in Dayton, ohio. that included a port and polish, and replacement of all valve seals, timing chain and tensioner, along with all new seals (obviously). head was mounted with a metal layered head gasket and ARP head studs.
all new timing components and belts were installed, new thermostat, and turbo was rebuilt by cheeta turbo in new york
basically this motor should handle at least 25psi boost and 8000 rpms with the weakest link being the rods, i couldnt scratch the cash for forged rods, or i would have. i run 15psi in it now and it hasnt seen more than 4500 rpms yet. btw i run royal purple oil in it.

the car currently sits on H&R ultra low coilovers. at this moment they have only 100+ miles on them, just swapped them from raceland coilovers
the wheels are XXR 527s in gold 5x114.3 mounted with 42draft wheel adapters.
offset is 25mm with 15mm spacers.
Drag neo chrome lug nuts
all the front suspension components have been replaced since iv had the car.
extras:
15k HIDs, VDO boost gauge with pod mounted on steering column, AEM wideband air/fuel gauge mounted in dash vent, panasonic touch screen stereo with pioneer subwoofer and power acoustic amp. ECS tuning lip spoiler. custom red plaid shifter boot. custom euro plate, says gtnraudi "getting rowdy"
the bad:
windshield is cracked
driver seat ripped
headliner sags
front bumper fell victim to shredded tire on the highway and is currently held together with zip ties. i have a brand new bumper that goes with it but needs painted.
paint is not the greatest, no major dents but several small scratches
missing lower door trim
FYI i have been noticing a very small coolant leak from turbo area, will have fixed by the time the car is sold.
