Want to trade for this...? Love your VW exactly what I'm looking for. I used to own a 2004 Jetta GLI APR stage 3+ kit. Before my M3

Ya, new door handles have to be keyed to match the new Kessy module. The remote works fine, doors just dont automatically open when you walk up to the car. And it has no Keyless GO so you have to use the key to start the car anyway. Not sure why they only put one system on the car... Should either be a both or none thing in my eyes.

Showed it to a couple people this weekend. Only reason I am selling is that I really dont like being high off the ground(really bad accident in an SUV when I was a kid that wouldnt have been as bad if we were in a car). So wanting to get back into a car. Id keep it and get something else to drive primarily if I had the space for two cars at the moment.

  • FS: 2004 V8 VW Toureg, Black on Teak, Very Modified!

I know its not stanced... But might as well throw it up for sale here as there are plenty of people here that appreciate a well done vehicle. Car took 1st for VW Other at Waterworks last summer and 4th in ProClass for the entire show(4th place out of over 500 cars). Meticulously maintained and detailed.

    2004 V8 Black on Teak
    74,500 miles
    Last 5 of VIN: 49785
    Located in Seattle, WA 98155
Price: $19,800 OBO as it sits.

Factory options include heated seats, rear window shades, all rear trunk accessories(liner and cargo cover), Steering wheel controls for the radio, mostly basic on the factory options list.

    Modifications:

    Chassis:

-Lowered on H&R springs with a cut coil to give a better drop, provides a sportier stiffer ride.
-22x10 et47 Rinspeed Replica wheels with 285/35/22 Hankook Ventus ST(been on the car for 3k miles, wheels are MINT and tires are pretty much brand new)(Also made custom Rinspeed centercaps for them in Brushed aluminum finish to match the wheels.)
-Brand new brakes front and rear 6k miles ago, using OEM brembo rotors and Hawk Low Dust brake pads. Calipers painted red with custom made Brembo stickers to fit the calipers perfectly.

    Body:

-All lower Valences/side-sills smoothed and painted to match exterior.
-Votex fender flares painted to match.
-Votex Offroad bumper guards in silver.
-Votex roof spoiler painted to match.
-Front lower chrome grill painted to match exterior.
-FK badgeless grill custom painted to match Offroad bumper guards.
-Rear hatch completely shaved and resprayed.
-Front and rear turn signals cleared out with stealth amber bulbs.
-8000k HIDs in Low Beams and Fog lights.

    Interior:

-Brand New CD deck to replace original faulty CD player.
-All wood trim rewrapped in dark gray suede.

    Performance/Engine:

-Custom Mangaflow Axleback exhaust with quad 4" tips. Sounds REALLY deep and angry outside the car but is only slightly audible inside the car unless you are really getting on it.
-Custom 3" One-off intakes designed by me. It moves the filter to below the Headlight creating 2 cold air boxes out of the bumper intakes. Really opened up the response of the engine.
-Intake manifold polished to match intakes.
    -Engine cover painted Wrinkle Red.
    -J-Caps Polished Oil Cap.

    Recent Maintenance:

-Replaced a bad rear wheel bearing when I bought the car last year.
-Replaced coolant sensors and thermostat 500 miles ago.
-Replaced Kessy module 100 miles ago.
