What did you set your nobs on on the 30 diffrent settings to get it to ride nice?Originally posted by Kielan View PostThe ride with those rates would be awful with the valving of the BCs though.
OP 9k/10k should be fine for what you want, that's what I had when I had my BCs and the ride was awesome, and I never had an issue.
Picture of my car for reference.

Thanks good , information!!Originally posted by StatusRacing View PostContrary to popular belief, adjusting the knobs on coilovers isn't supposed to change their stiffness. The knobs are there to give you adjustment for different spring rates, essentially. If you're running a stiff spring, crank those knobs to stiff. Soft spring? Spin knobs back to soft. This will help get the valving to match your springs.

I drove 20/18 BC set up and it rode like dream.Originally posted by Kielan View PostI understand that. But there is a top end to every coilover, and I personally feel that anything over like 11/12 on those coils would start to ride like dookie. The 9/10 combo I had rode just fine, and I could have gone plenty lower, but I liked how my fitment was.
9/10 is just fine to get as low as Alec's car.

I was trying to figure out how did Kelly came up with conclusion that 14/16 on BC will ride terrible compared to stiffer rates ff. Thats all.Originally posted by Ollie View PostNah he was on BCs w/ 9/10kg
9/10 will be fine to get it sitting like that green one. 14/16 if you want to go crazyy low.

by ff do you mean function and form?Originally posted by PavelK313 View PostBtw, I dont think ff valving is that much different.
I have the function and form type 2's (similar to the BC's) they came with 8k/10k originally, but I swapped the og springs out for some shorter/stiffer ones. now i'm running 10k/11k. very comfortable even with the dampening close to full stiff in the front and full stiff in the back
