I will post up more pics as I start to get it worked out on the car but I figured a parts list and some pics would help some people out.
When I build a system I try and think about the over all install and useability of the system. I want it function and I want it to look like it was almost meant to be on the car from the factory. So I try to find pieces that will allow me to inegrate the entire system into the car seemlessly vs. throwing everything into the car.
So my parts list is as follows
2 universal air strut over bags
2 slam specialties re5's for the rear
2 universal air leader hoses for front bags
accuair vu4 manifold
accuair speed switch controller
3 gallon aluminum tank
viair dual 380 compressors
dakota digital odessy 2 gauge
4 150 psi dakota digital sending units
1 parker water trap
50ft 3/8 air dot air line
misc fittings
in addition to the air ride parts Im using a new south sterering column replacement pod, unit is a direct replacement for the mk4 upper steering column cover, Im also going to be using the existing H&R ultralow coilovers that are on the car. I will be notching the front frame to allow for better axle clearance and in addition I will be raising the motor 1 inch for better clearance.
Car is a 2000 VW GTI 12v VR6
wheels and tires are 18x8 18x10 schmidt vn lines with 215/40 front and 225/40 rear falken fk452's
front bags with leaderlines/ tank and compressors

as you can see the nice thing about accuair is that everything is plug and play very little wiring that is needed to be done
my plans, I want to build the compressor and tank into the spare tire well as well as the manifold so nothing is visable unless the floor is lifted. I will most likely be building a false floor and raising it up a few inches to allow for room for wiring and everything to pass without being visable but we shall see. In addition I need to integrate a jl 12 w6 and a jl 500/1 into the trunk as well. Im not sure how I want to mount those yet but I might do a fiberglass box for the sub. But this is still all up in the air just kinda throwing my ideas down.
