I can get me rear to sit like this. This is on its bump stops. I just don't fancy fitting coilovers on the front would rather do air. But just trying to save a bit cash and incorporating the standard equipment?
You can just run the rear air lines to a new manifold. Then the car won't be able to try to level. I am sure it will throw some sort of code but that's not really a big deal. You just need to convert the rear air lines from metric to standard but we can get fittings for that!
There are ways to lower SLS (via software) and keep the functionality, however it will still be working to maintain a "static" point depending on load. You wont necessarily be able to raise or lower the rear of the car on demand (at least with hacks that i've seen)
So essentially you'd have a car that's only bagged in the front, and "static" in the rear, but can compensate for additional load in the wagon.
Hope this helps, there are threads on SLS all over bf.c with more in-depth info.
I have a 2001 530i sport touring with sls I was wondering if there was some way of replacing the front suspension with bags and the using the standard equipment the car comes with to work these as well as the rear. Is this possible
