    Wow, you must have been a boyscout or something. How about if the wiring takes a dump and you burn through your spare fuse. Running dual fuses cuts one full circuit out of the failure modes and effects analysis, so it's much more robust.

    I did one fuse.... should redo it to have two. Can't believe I didn't think of the fuse burning out and leaving me stranded

    do the diagram you posted, i've done it like that for years with no issue. I like using two separate in line fuses though so if the one big fuse goes out, you arent fucked.

    yep. it makes sense as in its not confusing but i wouldnt do it like that either. the first diagram has the second relay relying on the first. so if the first relay goes bad, both compressors are out. lol.
