    if you dont mind having brushed inner spokes i will polish the faces for you all 4 wheels for 400 including the hex caps and the center disks. turnaround time is about 4 days.

    If you still want to do it yourself I understand but like they said without commercial polishing equipment plan on spending somewhere in the neighbor hood of 30-50 hours per wheel to strip and to polish using aircraft stripper/sand paper/ steel wool/ polishing compound

    here is my work, these are my personal wheels so you can get an idea of what they will look like

    ^ i have polished a set of wheel before by hand but it wasn't more than a easy 5 hour job !

    i know it will take time, i'm a huge DIYer

    how long do i leave the media blast/ stripper on for , also do i have to scrub it or do i just brush it on with a paint brush, also how much is needed for all four faces ?

    how long do i use the power tools/ compound after sanding and steel wool?

    yea, no power tools until you're polishing with polishing compound (white and red)

    like this stuff

    media blast or aircraft stripper to get the original finish off first

    lower # sandpaper (320) up to highest (1500/2000) then very fine steel wool (0000), then polishing compound with buffing wheel. you can skip the polishing compounds but it won't be mirror finish. then the final step is mothers polish

    it's seriously a lot more work than you think it's going to to be. I know you said you've got time...but polishing the faces is a huge job if you've never polished anything before.by the time you're done with the faces you'll never want to polish anything ever again

    let me get this straight.

    All i need to do is buy paint stripper , then start with the lowest Grit sand to the highest, does that mean hardest to soft and finish with mother polish ?
