  • My winter project never got started till spring

Im repairing a set of 20x8.5 TSW Carltons.

Probably gunna sell 'em after Im done.

I got the things free! So, yea thats why Im doing it.

Initially they were hyper black but Im gunna do a nice silver all around or do the lip in a nice polished silver and do the face in gold,..... dont know. If I keep em I might do them in the Silver Metallic Frost that my car is done in but Im not liking fitment of big wheels more and more these days.

Got lots of sanding to do and lots of fill. These things had more than a bad rash. Things must have had the itch!

I never knew powder coat was this durable.

I remember back in the day when I used to ride and paint our bike frames we would use a product called Tal-Strip and that worked like butters. I would spray it on aerosol or wad it on in its goo form and all I would have to do half the time was just hose it off and it was clean! I was hoping I could get away with that this time around and just polish the wheels up cause these wheels polished would look nice but yea,... thats not working.

    Any pointers?
