Refinishing a set of style 5s and all i need is the bolts. In the meantime i just finished another set of style 19s .
1***I was gonna have the heads of the bolts powder coated with a transparent gold, theyre already cleaned and polished, was gonna have this done for 60 bucks, but think electroplating would be better. my 1st question is :. Is it possible to do the whole bolt or would it have to be just the heads?
2***I put the nuts in a cup with vinegar for a few days. it cleaned off the rust, but i wanna know what to do so the rust wont come back. Would it be better to just put wd 40? paint them (engine paint )or clear coat them?
