I have seen a few examples of set-ups with a 40 series tire in the front and a 35 series in the rear.. My Rabbit has a 8.5" wheel in front with a 205/40/18 and a 9.5" rear wheel with a 215/40/18.
The problem is the rear tire appears taller (bigger) than the front. Im thinking if I go with a 215/35/18 it will look cleaner and I will be able to lower the back more without rubbing like crazy (it would also de-rake the stance). I have attached a pic to show what I am talking about.... any opinions on the matter would help.
