wheel fitment help using adapter

I heard about wobble bolts but are they really reliable? If so I might just buy those since my Audi is 5x112. Do you by any chance know what offset I should look for with wobble bolts? Also will I have to buy a set of Centric rings for the new rims or no?

Assuming your Audi is 5x112, you could just use wobble bolts to fit 5x114 wheels rather than use adapters.

If you're gonna use an adaptor, you subtract the adaptor width from the wheels original offset to find it's effective offset with the adaptor installed.

If you have a wheel that has a 45mm offset and you use a 25mm adaptor, that wheels final offset is 20mm (et20).

Ive been looking at buying a set of 2.1 varrstoen rims for my Audi a4 b5 however Im gonna need to use a 1 1/2 inch wheel adapter since it's a 114 bolt pattern rim. My question is with using an adapter how do I calculate my offset? My rim specs are 18x9.5 but I don't know if I should get 30 22 15 12 0 offset and have the nice flush maybe alittle poke look. Can someone help me because using a wheel adapter throws me off.
