Hey guys,
I got across an offer i could not say no to, and i ended up with a golf mk.2 from 89.
Cars original and used, 332000kms on the clock, so its just about run in
But, im known in my town for breaking necks with my slammed bimmer, and ofcourse i cannot kill this trend. So its getting coiled and slammed, but what about wheels?
Its not my first vdub, but its my first golf 2, and i know theres a million different wheels out there. I would like to know what could be a good setup for wheels.
What et, rim width, size, am i looking for for a nice looking setup where the wheels stick half an inch or an inch outside the stock fenders? Im looking for the classic low and wide look that a golf can get, with fat lips.
Im gussing 16" wheels should be my max, but with that said, 15" might be better for this look?
I wouldnt mind inspiration. Its an old worn out car, so i dont need fancy rims, just the badass look
Heres a few of the bimmer, just to show what i like, but dont plan on going as low this time, but still want a nice fit in wheel arches.
