First off, I want to give HUGE props to Lenny Stahl @ Inland Wheel Center 909-663-0319
He is also the part owner of Motorsports Tech ran by his son Junior.
He was given a timeline and a fairly complicated task with my wheels and SO FAR, he is up to the task. They are not 100% complete but they are right on as far as the timeline goes.
Lenny also gave me his personal cell phone and ALWAYS answers the phone.
I cannot preach how much of a help he has been!
Second part, I am not going to throw Eric to the wolves but am just going to tell my experience.
I sent him the same set of wheels in late January 2011. Through hundreds of "yeah, I have been busy, I can get to them next week" I stayed very patient with Eric. He had stories of personal issues and health issues which I could understand could cause delays (not know if he was telling the truth or not). I was told 4-6 weeks to complete the modifications of my wheels, on June 2nd I received my wheels back from Eric in the exact same condition I had sent them to him.
Things I will say about Vaughn,
1. He did send me back $100 to pay for the shipping to him (DOESNT pay for the 5 lost months)
2. He is extremely knowledgable about wheels and wheel modification, there is no question about that.
3. He usually answered the phone and would call you back if you were persistant. Before he sent my wheels back, we discussed a "realistic" timeline and it was decided to ship them back to me so on a scale of 1 to 10 I would give him a 5 on communication.
4. I have heard only good things about Eric in the past from people and he may return to that state but for now.... Caveat emptor.
