17x8,5 +20 -> 16x8,5 +35. Will it fit?
Hello there, guys.
I currently run a set of Style 5s (17x8,5 +20 all around @ 205/40R17), but as you can see in my "build" thread, they look too big for my car.
I'm thinking of selling them and getting myself a set of 16 BBS RSs.
I found a set with the following setup:
16x7.5 +35 F
16x8.5 +35 R
As for the rubber, I'd probably go for 195/45, the smallest we have here in Brazil.
I can't go any low on my current setup as the wheels hit the back of the fenders (I got them widened by 1"), that's the main reason I want to run smaller wheels.
The question is: how can I know if they'll fit? I'd buy 'em online, so there's no way to testfit before I actually have them.
I'll try to provide you some pictures, because maybe I can arrange something in order to fit the Style5s. I think increasing the offset won't help.
