My favorite wheel would be hard to say. Love the Futura though.

I agree. Mesh and/or dish is my main wheel fetish. And if they are retro or old school even better.
I feel that since I'm the only one here that likes 'em cap-less I should try and explain why. But I don't know if I can. It depends on the car. Like Seans M3 some cars need them in. But for me that's mainly if the car is very clean or looks exclusive. But if the car is more race/drift/rat/hoodride inspired they look good without them. I found fake BBS logo that fitted over the hub-hole in the middle, and it looked awesome with the long racebolts sticking out.

RS here too. Why? I don't know really. I remember seeing them the first time in a BMW mag, fitted under a E36 M3 saloon. I didn't at that time know what wheels they were, but all I know was that I addored them and said to myself I would own a set of these once.
Which I did a couple of years later (now).

Center caps need to be on though. That's part of what I like about these wheels in the first place, the big hex cap that mimics a central locking nut and the way the spoked continue in the center cap.
I'm still trying to understand why people like the caps-off look, looking at the studs and the rusting wheelbearing cap.

I just love old school mesh in general. Mainly the ones fitted to 70/80's racecars with the huge rear dishes.

For non-mesh wheels, M Parallel's are my favorites.

Depends on the car, but I'm gonna have to go with HRE for my top 2:

    And the 525:

    Others worth mentioning:

    OZ Futura
    Desmond Regamaster

    Obviously I'm a wheel noob. :-\

I agree that it depends on the car. But I try to think about just the wheel, not mounted on anything.

As for the capless thing. In your case Sean, it wouldn't look right. But I think that's down to the color of the centers. In grey, silver, black or gold it works. I had to do without them since I used the long hub-attached racing bolts, so the caps didn't fit. But to me it just looks more hardcore and has a race feel. But RSs are my number one caps or no caps

The OZs also rock big time. But the Carline CM6 looks kinda hotrodish and nasty to me. But that could just be down to the fact that those are common on really ugly "full bodykit that looks cheap and poorly put together with outlandish and nasty paintjob" kinda cars where I come from.
