You can dislike the color of my wheels, or my car, but its dumped on coils with proper fitment and stretched tires, exactly what this forum is about.
OP- we are a welcoming and friendly bunch, but we are also a specific forum when it comes to content.. While I can appreciate the fact that you got a good deal on a E34 and had some old wheels sitting in a shed, that doesn't equate to a "stanced" car.
Check out the forums and look for some OG's builds on here and you will get a better idea of what we are about.

"proper fitment" and "stretched tires" sounds like an oxymoron to me, but OK.
I personally do not have a problem with your car either.
I guess "stanceworks" really means "a specific stance, works" of which criteria my car does not fit, despite it having a far from stock stance...
My apologies for watering down your forum, I will go on my way.

I guess I was wrong in thinking that a "different from the norm" forum like this might sort of dig the weirdness... oh well.

It was sort of an intro and I had some questions.

What looks good is relative, what you think looks good I might ****, and vice-versa.
I didn't do it "to be different" I had the wheels laying around and figured I would give it a shot...
And like I said, it was mostly a bolt pattern test fit, I thought it looked kinda cool though. It obviously would look better with matching fronts, but the fronts I had on the monte were skinnier and smaller tires on 14x7s which I dont think will fit over the brakes...

oh, and as far as an opinion on those wheels, it could work, maybe some smaller sized tires, what size are the wheels anyways? They look a little small for a 5 series, could work, since you got them for free it wouldn't hurt to try I guess.

well this was just a test fit, and the car is more or less a beater, if it blows up I wont really care all that much. I missed RWD and wanted tomsthing to mess with.
I thought I would **** the look of the wheels/tires but wanted to test fit to see how the GM pattern (4.75" or 120.64mm) would bolt up to the BMW pattern (120mm) and it actually woks out quite well despite not being "right"
I might say screw it and just get cragar Soft-8's in 17x9" amd 17x8"... that might be more your guys speed/style:
