Yup, I have ~6.5" of travel on these shocks, so I don't think I'm bottoming out the valving just yet.
-
yeah, if you get it at the right setting, you should have the advertised amount of travel from those bagsOriginally posted by extol1337 View PostThat may be it. I have a lot of tweaking to do and plus I can shorten the shock A LOT more (like 2 inches or so, but at the cost of lift), so I'll have to play around with it to find the sweet spot.
in my case, the shocks were bottoming out4.0" Compressed
9.25" Extended

i wasnt getting any lower and losing lift so i cranked the collars up to where i am at the lowest point at 0-5 psi plus i get more lift

Haha, I'm more than happy with this set up on bags over coils. I don't drive long if it's about 110 or more. I have to drive at 100psi normally because it's just too low compared to the fronts if I don't. Stupid sleeves. 80psi actually feels very nice up front since the car is pretty heavy.Originally posted by Francois Dillinger View Postdamn....i wish i had that problem with my boc setup...
i think the "reccomended" max for aero's is 110 too...although i'm sure you are wayyyy below burst rate at that psi anyway...

Yup, fronts are aired out, but actually sits at that height around ~35-40psi on drivers front and about 25-30psi on passenger side; I just let all the air out anyways. I need to figure out what's holding me up still up front, but I know rears is the sleeve is so damn short so I need to make it longer so I can actually have some lift. 120psi on the rears is less than a finger gap and that's not going to cut it when it comes to lift.
The kit is Aerosports over Stance coilovers.

In for answer... I assumed it was front down, rear halfway down.Originally posted by Tuck&Poke View Postwait thats aired up?

i think the front is aired out and the rear has 60psi.Originally posted by Tuck&Poke View Postwait thats aired up?
either way, that's effing low for 60psi on aerosports (which is what i'm pretty sure he used)

It's getting there.
Needs more tweaking, but it's getting there. Big thanks to Drew Dorbritz and Santi for all their hard work on this piece!
- Front tire sits on fender liner; probably will have to take them out.
- Front notches need some more trimming I think, trimmed some last night and it got a bit lower.
- Front bag adjustment and strut height need to be done for max lift and max drop
- Rear sleeves need to be re-done as they are a bit too short and I lose lift
Overall, I'm very happy with it. In this pic, the rears have ~60psi as the rear sleeves are a bit too short and I don't want extreme reverse rake. :P
