Took her out of the garage for the first time since before Christmas.
being toying around with the idea of American plates so put one I had hanging on the garage wall on for the crack!
Ruude ride! You are making all the right moves! Very happy to see you dropped it more.. found those rare BBS RA's.. maybe time for some spacers to close the gap on the tire and fender! Looks like you could fit 15mm before worrying about rubbing..
I don't think bmw ever put german flag colored M badges on their cars...
I dunno, like its cool to celebrate your cars racing heritage and all but putting an M badge on a obviously non M car seems really poseurish to me. No big deal really
Cheers bud ya the bc's are good just make sur the front struts are welded low enough! What probs have you had with the m42?
Thanks for the tip! Still pretty new when it comes to suspension. As for the engine it's mostly timing chain issues, rattles pretty bad. Sounds like an old diesel lol. Need to get in there and have a poke but I use the car all the time and can't afford for it to be off the road for long. Had nasty temperature problems just after I bought it and that took some battling, just wondering how much more life the old girl has in her haha. I don't know about Ireland but M42s are pretty hard to find down under!
New wheels look absolutely fantastic man, excellent choice. Glad to hear you like the BC coils, I'm about to buy a set myself. How's your M42 holding up? Mine's been nought but trouble since day one...
