Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to say I'm doing it perfectly by any means. I'm just saying I think there are proper cases for poke (most cases) and I think there are proper cases for tuck (see e28).
It flusters me when people say "poke is always better" because its not.
If my rear poked, my ass end would be sky high and my car would look stupid. The rear fenders are cut lower on older BMWs and its just part of the body line.
Same with Mike's Audi
That shit would look stupid as hell with poked wheels.
I will say that on most cars, yes, poked is more appealing. its hard to pull off a nice tuck... but "always" is a bit absurd.
